1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using NexusChat (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and NexusChat.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital age of consent in your country) to use NexusChat. By using the Service you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

3. Account Registration

To use NexusChat you must register with a valid phone number and create a username. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate registration information.
• Keeping your account credentials secure.
• All activity that occurs under your account.
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

You may not create accounts using automated methods or create multiple accounts to evade a suspension.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use NexusChat to:

• Send spam, unsolicited messages, or harass other users.
• Post or share illegal content, including content that violates copyright, is defamatory, obscene, or constitutes hate speech.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state your affiliation with any person or entity.
• Transmit viruses, malware, or any code of a destructive nature.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or another user's account.
• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorised purpose.
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you create and share on NexusChat (messages, images, etc.). By submitting content you grant NexusChat a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, transmit, and display that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you and other users.

You are solely responsible for the content you share. We do not proactively monitor all content but reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms.

6. Privacy

Your use of NexusChat is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review it to understand our practices.

7. Intellectual Property

The NexusChat name, logo, and all related materials are the property of NexusChat and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

8. Service Availability

We strive to keep NexusChat available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend or modify the Service at any time for maintenance, security, or other operational reasons, with or without notice.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, suspected fraud, harmful behaviour toward other users, or at our sole discretion. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, NexusChat shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim (which is £0 since NexusChat is free).

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted means you accept the new Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service.
